Question2: How quickly can I expect to get an answer if I
send a Request for Quotation (RFQ)?
The Oxford Aviation sales team is very aggressive and dynamic
in replying to RFQs. If the parts are in stock, then we aim
to contact our customers within 30 minutes. For parts not
in stock, we contact our customers after checking the lead
times and inform them when we can supply. If you do not receive
a reply within 24 hours then you can consider the request
as No Quote Available.
Question3: If the quote is too high, will Oxford Aviation
revise its prices?
Yes. Oxford Aviation is always willing to revise its quotations.
Please contact us immediately and let the sales person know
if you think that the prices are too high. Oxford Aviation
will TRY to do it’s best to beat or match any price
a customer has.
Question4: If I have a target price, will Oxford Aviation
be willing to consider lowering it’s price?
Yes: We always encourage our customers to call us if they have
any target pricing and Oxford Aviation will again TRY to
meet or beat the your target price.
Question5: What is the average cut-off time for despatching
an order.
All orders are normally shipped the day we receive them. However,
sometimes this process is limited by the carrier that the customer
requests us to use. For example: for UPS Shipments, we request
that the customer send their Purchase Orders before 14:00 PM Monday
through Friday for the same day shipment. For same day shipments
we request that you send in your Purchase Orders before the following
cut-off times:
DHL: 15:30 PM / TNT: 14:00 PM / FedEx: 14:00
PM / For USA Next Day
Others: 12:00 PM
NOTE: Oxford Aviation enjoys good discounts with DHL and TNT. Please
use our discounts to save money on your imports.
Question5: What pricing policy is applied when there is
an AOG (Aircraft on Ground)?
There are no extra charges for an AOG service
if the parts are in stock. However, if we have to purchase parts
for a special AOG need, then the extra costs will be passed on to
the customers, for example: incoming freight etc. Customer will
be informed in a quote about these costs before hand.
Question6: Does Oxford Aviation process Blanket (yearly)
orders?
Yes. Oxford Aviation encourages its customers to order on a yearly
basis. By ordering in this method, customers can save time and
can avoid last minute ordering. Extra discounts are offered for
yearly orders, for example better prices and definite delivery schedules.
